About
藝術與精準
Helen Chang is a Taiwan-based permanent makeup artist and educator whose work has shaped the modern editorial PMU aesthetic.
Her Story
Helen began her career as a fine artist in Taipei, where her obsession with line, color, and balance turned naturally toward the human face as a canvas.
Over eight years she built a private studio practice serving discerning clients across Asia, then began teaching technique to a small group of artists. That group became a school.
Today CHANG PMU & TRAINING is a quiet authority on naturalistic permanent makeup — taught with editorial sensibility and obsessive attention to skin behavior, pigment chemistry, and facial harmony.
Beauty is not addition. It is the patient removal of everything that does not belong.
— Helen Chang, Founder
First private clients. The CHANG aesthetic begins to take shape — restrained color, hair-stroke precision, editorial finishing.
Five students. The first version of the CHANG curriculum is taught privately and refined into a method.
Helen begins teaching abroad. Alumni open studios in Tokyo, Seoul, Sydney, and Vancouver.
The three-day intensive becomes the canonical CHANG certification, exported to four continents.
Dedicated workshops in LA and NY. A bilingual editorial home for the practice, the school, and the alumni community.
We measure by results that age beautifully — not by appointments per day.
Color, density, and shape must serve the face. The work should disappear into the person.
Every student leaves with the technique, the science, and the editorial taste to raise the bar where they practice.
